About
Built for the people who actually run a society
Society Adda began as one community's own system — the gate, the books, the help desk, the AGM — and became a platform when other societies asked for the same thing on their own address.
It is built and run from Bengaluru. Every module on the features page exists because a committee, an estate manager or a guard needed it on a particular day — not because it filled a gap on a comparison chart.
What we believe
- A society's data belongs to the society
- Not to us, and not to whoever is on the committee this year. It exports in formats other software reads, and a resident can ask for their own copy.
- Isolation is the database's job
- Every table sits behind a policy keyed to one society. A mistake in our code returns nothing rather than someone else's rows, because the application is not what holds that line.
- A person checks before a society exists
- Anyone can type the name of a real society into a form. Evidence and a human reviewer sit between that and a site full of residents' details.
- Nothing pretends to work
- If SMS is not configured, the screen says so rather than claiming a message went out. Every channel reports what it actually did.
- No dark patterns
- No hidden renewal traps, no ransom for your own data, no feature that quietly collects more than it needs.
What we will not do
- We do not sell resident data, and there is nobody to sell it to.
- We do not put advertising in a society's console.
- We do not hold your maintenance money — residents pay into the society's own account.
- We do not claim customers, awards or numbers we cannot show you.
Have a look for yourself
Register your society and judge it on the console, not on this page.
